I must be watching too much TV

After the seasonal advertising barrage, I can't help wondering - has any of the kitchen firms ever sold any of its cabinets at whatever price they knock such massive discounts off?

    They are obliged to sell any discounted item at the higher price for two weeks prior to the sale, but the sale can go on for as long as they want.


    During the two week period there are other, similar, items at the discounted price.


    There was a time I wanted to buy a bed and found that the discounted price had actually just been withdrawn.
